Our mission
EcoTeach is dedicated to providing travel experiences that combine education with conservation, and recreation with cultural awareness.  We also intend to make travel as easy and as safe as possible.  Consequently our tours are all-inclusive -- the price of each tour includes airfare, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and all activity fees.


Our history
Since 1994, more than 5000 students, individuals and families from North America and the U.K. have traveled with EcoTeach to experience the culture and natural wonders of Costa Rica. In 2008, we expanded our offerings with trips to Mexico and Alaska. 


Our team
EcoTeach is not a family business, but it sure feels like one.  From the personal care you’ll receive from our staff, to the hospitality you’ll enjoy with our farm families, and to the warm friendships you’ll develop with our guides and bus drivers – you’ll sense a special kinship based on a strong commitment to the ideals of cultural exchange and ecological conservation.  So come and meet the family: 

• Our U.S. Team handles sales, travel logistics and stateside customer service.  They are the principal point of contact for the group leaders, individual and family travelers, as well as the parents of students traveling with EcoTeach. 
  
  
• Our Costa Rica Team handles all the logistics of your travel in Costa Rica, and our guides 
  
  
• Our Costa Rica Guides are your constant companions while you’re traveling, and the people you’ll remember long afterwards.  They will get you where you need to go, educate you about why you’re there, provide translation for you, and make your travel as meaningful as possible.
